You may remember him from his 2008 Junior Carlsbad run or maybe even his extra efforts to raise money for the Entoto Foundation with Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary School. Jack Long, a 10-year-old Carlsbad resident, is officially a 2008 NESTLÉ DRUMSTICK Little Hero!
Winners of this annual contest received four tickets to a San Diego Padres baseball game, a t-shirt, baseball cap and gift certificate, invitation to a VIP reception where they will meet a player and on-screen recognition during the game.
“Children have an amazing ability to reach out to others with acts of kindness every day,” said Mike Stamper of Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream. “We feel it is important to recognize their efforts and reward them for the little things they do to make the world a better place. Entries were judged on creativity, style and the child’s accomplishments.”
Congratulations Jack!
